I don’t usually post anything other than music photography on this blog, but I finally got to do a shoot with a friend of mine that I’ve been wanting to work with for a while. I think they turned out well, especially considering it was her first shoot ever and it was freezing outside yesterday.

10.29.2012 – #Sandy #frankenstorm #nyc – Went for a walk around noon.
Down the East River to Battery Park. People were out and about, some were even fishing. All of the Duane Reade stores we passed were open. Lots of buildings put sandbags out. Train stations boarded up. It’s actually kind of nice to see the streets so empty in Downtown Manhattan on a Monday afternoon. NYC birds and squirrels don’t seem phased yet.

None of these pictures are cropped or color edited, just re-sized cause it’s a lazy Sunday people. So I apologize if you don’t have a Mac and the pictures don’t automatically look gorgeous on your computer. All three bands were fantastic, and Brooklyn Bowl, I just have to say, beautiful stage lighting. Best and easiest show I’ve shot in a while. That’s it, that’s as much as I can say right now.
